Bayside Breaks Out Huge First Day Album Sales Topple 6,000 Units
Video for Single “Duality” Exclusively on MySpace and Fuse

“If this is Wounded, Bayside will be scary when they reach full strength! (3.5 stars)” - Rolling Stone

Bayside

New York, NY – 2007 has started off with a bang… a HUGE one for Victory recording artists BAYSIDE who’s new album The Walking Wounded was unleashed to stores this week. With startling one day sales toppling 6,000 copies sold according to SoundScan (and many outlets already reordering quantities), this album is gearing up to be the album that propels these four Long Islanders into the spotlight. Already garnering sparkling reviews from Alternative Press (“The Walking Wounded is easily the most ambitious album of their career”), Ultimate Guitar (“This is one of the best CDs ever”), AbsolutePunk (“With The Walking Wounded, Bayside has created a new anthem for us”), the impact of this album is just beginning.

While most albums receive polite claps and smiles, The Walking Wounded has been lavished with rabid applause and cheers. The video for the single (the first of many) “Duality” was directed by Danny Yourd of Endeavor Media (Flee the Seen, Project 86, Lovedrug). It debuted on Fuse TV’s “Steven’s Untitled Rock Show” as well as online at MySpace this week, drawing excitement and anticipation for the album’s release. The video is also now in regular rotation on Fuse.

Currently, the band is preparing to embark on their first national tour (dates below) since the album’s release with Anberlin, Meg & Dia, and Jonezetta… the first of many for this year, which includes Bamboozle in May and Vans Warped Tour for the summer (big Fall tour to be announced).
