WHAT: The fifth episode in the top rated “Decades Rock Live” concert series on VH1 Classic will premiere on Friday, September 1st, 2006 at 8 p.m.

On this episode of Decades Rock Live, legendary rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd were honored by a widely diverse and unique group of artists including Bo Bice, Hank Williams Jr. and 3 Doors Down. The result: a phenomenal night of surprises, collaborations and music.

VH1 Classic and World Productions are proud to present “DECADES ROCK LIVE,” an innovative new live concert series that airs on VH1 Classic. “DECADES ROCK LIVE” features performances by celebrated artists from rock to soul who have influenced popular music over the last 50 years, as well as performances from some of today’s hottest recording acts inspired by these legends. Each episode will focus on a specific artist and will include some of the most renowned names from the world of music.
