New York Dolls Announce Headling Stint On Little Steven's Underground Garage Tour
New Album One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This Continues To Impress Critics And Fans Alike
The seminal New York Dolls will hit the road this November, headlining Little Steven's Underground Garage Tour. The Dolls, who recently marked their return after an extended hiatus with the critically acclaimed album One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This, will crisscross the country from November 6th through December 2nd, bringing out The Supersuckers in support. This tour will mark the first full headlining tour the band has done in over 30 years. This is a tour surely not to be missed, as the band will be hitting markets they have never played before.
"Smartly written and well played," according to the New York Times and "the rare band reunion that brings out the best in all concerned," as stated by Blender Magazine, One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This went over well with the critics to say the least. Featuring the songs "Dance Like A Monkey" and the new single "Dancing On The Lip Of A Volcano," the album received 4 stars from Spin, Blender and Mojo magazines and accolades in most major publications including Rolling Stone, Spin, New York Magazine, The New York Times and others. Recently the band's song "Take A Good Look At My Good Looks" was selected to be used on all AMC (American Movie Classics) promos for their "Every Night at 8" series. These 30 second spots will run throughout the month of October.
