Stone The Crow - In Concert Beat Workshop Germany 1973:
This DVD features a live performance from STONE THE CROWS at the Beat Workshop in Germany circa 1973. As legend would have it, Led Zeppelin Manager Peter Grant travelled to Scotland to see the band POWER, whose performance was centered around the distinctive vocals of MAGGIE BELL. Suitably impressed, he signed them but had a name change in mind and thus they were renamed STONE THE CROWS. Even though their original guitarist Leslie Harvey had been electrocuted during a sound check at The Swanage Ballroom in 1972, they had regrouped with JIMMY McCULLOCH playing guitar and were at a creative peak when this brillant concert was recorded.

This concert DVD was recorded live at the Church Street Station Theatre in Orlando, Florida. Here Wynette, the naive farm girl who, with one of the most recognizable voices in country music sold more than 30 million records, puts on one of her trademark breath-taking performances. No other female country singer conveyed the emotion of heartbreak like Tammy Wynette. She endeared herself to millions by singing about topics of everyday life - divorce, loneliness, parenting, and passion. Her tearful singing style was the voice of every heartbreak a woman has ever known. This DVD is a fine representation of her incredible talent. Recorded in 1981.
