Former Blink 182's Tom Delong's Much anticipated New Project Angels & Airwaves Perform Songs Off Their Debut Album, Need To Whisper On Fuse's 7th Avenue Drop Tune In To Fuse Tuesday May 23, 2006 At 8:00 PM ET/ 5:00 PM PT

WHO: Few Rockers have garnered more anticipation or interest in a new project or album than former blink-182 guitarist, Tom Delong. After his former band announced a self imposed hiatus, Delong decided to pursue a solo project. Joined by former Box Car Racer buddy David Kennedy, Offspring drummer Atom Willard and Distillers former bass-player Ryan Sinn, the super-group, cocooned in the studio with the ambitious goal to produce "the best music made in decades."

On May 23, 2006, A year and a half later, Angels & Airwaves debut album, 'Need To Whisper' is set for release. In celebration, the band invited fuse cameras to their private rehearsal space to film a special episode of 7th Avenue Drop. The set, decorated to look like a far-away Galaxy/space station, showcases the band's 5 song performance which featured several songs off their debut album in addition to a suprise Box Car Racer track. The band also sat down with Fuse VJ Steven Smith to discuss the process of the making the album, Delong's relationship with former blink-182 band mates and thoughts on "the best music made in decades."

WHAT: 7th Avenue Drop is the only show where fans can tune in to see top artists perform songs off their new discs on or around of release, in addition to their all-time biggest hits. The show normally tapes in front of a live audience located at Fuse's newly re-vamped NYC street-front studio.
