VH1 Classic And World Productions Announce Allstar Line-up For Upcoming Shows In The "Decades Rock Live" Concert Series Elvis Costello, Billie Joe Armstrong, Fiona Apple, Lynyrd Skynrd, Bo Bice... And More Just Added To Upcoming Decades Rock Live Shows

New York, NY – March 7, 2006 - VH1 Classic and World Productions have announced additional all-star names confirmed to participate in upcoming episodes of the groundbreaking Decades Rock Live concert series for the 2006 season.

Elvis Costello, Death Cab For Cutie, Fiona Apple, 3 Doors Down, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bo Bice and Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day are set to join an exciting cast of artists already announced this season, including Heart, Alice in Chains, Dave Navarro, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, and Rufus Wainwright.

An innovative new live concert series, Decades Rock Live features performances honoring celebrated artists from rock to soul who have influenced popular music over the last 50 years, as well as performances from some of today's hottest recording acts who have been inspired by these legends. The only live concert series of its kind, the program premiered on VH1 Classic on November 18, 2005. The debut episode honored Bonnie Raitt with special guest appearances by Norah Jones, Ben Harper, Keb Mo and Alison Krauss. The second installment in the series aired on VH1 Classic on January 27, 2006 by paying tribute to pop music icon Cyndi Lauper. Special guests that joined in to honor Cyndi included Scott Weiland, Ani DiFranco, Shaggy, Pat Monahan of Train and The Hooters.

Decades Rock Live is taped at Trump Taj Mahal’s high definition television studio, The Decades Rock Arena (temporarily renamed from Mark Etess Arena for the duration of the series run), in Atlantic City, NJ. Each one-hour episode in the 12 part series focuses on a specific artist. The series is broadcasted in High Definition 5.1 surround sound, and rebroadcasted on a premium HD network at a later date.

The line-ups for the next three upcoming episodes of Decades Rock Live are:

Heart

Featuring special guest appearances by Alice in Chains, Dave Navarro, Carrie Underwood, and Rufus Wainwright.

Elvis Costello

Featuring special guest appearances by Billie Joe Armstrong, Death Cab For Cutie and Fiona Apple.

Tape date: 5/19/06 - Air date: TBC

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Featuring special guest appearances by 3 Doors Down and Bo Bice with more stars to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tape date: 6/23/06 - Air date: TBC

The series is produced by Barry Summers, show creator and Executive Producer for World Productions. Co-Executive Producer is Eric Sherman, Senior Vice President and General Manager, VH1 Classic. Co-producer is Tisha Fein (GRAMMY Awards).
