Translation Loss Records Signs Andrew Tweedy Debut
Release Due Out On September 5, 2006


Translation Loss Records is pleased to announce the signing of Ottawa's native son, singer/songwriter Andrew Tweedy.


Translation Loss will be releasing his debut release entitled, "Glass Fingers" which is due for a September 5, 2006
release.


Andrew Tweedy also finds himself playing guitar and
doing backing vocals for Relapse Record's very own Buried Inside.


But don't expect anything brutal or metal, as Tweedy is strictly a singer/songwriter outfit that delivers tales of melancholy with sparse arrangements bringing to mind the early works of Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon),
the more mellow moments of Beck and Nick Cave.
