What: Vince Neil and special guest, Ratt, will bring their rock show to the St. Pete Times Forum on Friday, June 30, 2006. Since the Mötley Crüe show in February, 2005 in Tampa, fans have been craving the reappearance of the band's front man. This summer, the fans will get their wish when Ratt opens for rock legend Vince Neil.

Some may know Neil from his illustrious solo career. Many, however, will recognize his name as the lead singer of one of the most popular and renowned rock bands of all time, Mötley Crüe. The band has suffered from its fair share of ups and downs, but the turmoil settled recently when the group put aside its differences and toured in support of the compilation album Red, White and Crüe. Since the tour rolled into the St. Pete Times Forum last year, Neil's return was imminent in the minds of his fans.

Neil, born in Hollywood, has been successful both as a solo performer and as a member of Mötley Crüe. During the group's separation, Neil produced several hit singles off his 1993 solo album, Exposed. Popular songs include "Sister of Pain," "Can't Change Me," and "Can't Have Your Cake and Eat It Too." In addition to performing some of his exceptional solo hits, Neil
will also perform many popular Mötley Crüe songs. As the lead member of Mötley Crüe, Neil truly captured stardom and made his name globally recognizable. The band has sold more than 41 million albums worldwide and 24 million records in the US alone.

Ratt, the American glam metal band, will open for Neil. The band enjoyed an immense amount of commercial success in the 1980s. Ratt is most famous for their hit "Round and Round." Some of their other songs include "Lay it Down" and "You're in Love." The band was named #79 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
