The band will be releasing their debut US full length this October also on Better Looking so please keep them in mind as you plan your big fall issues. They are currently holed up in a UK studio recording the record…
As Electric Soft Parade, brothers Tom and Alex White released their debut album, 2002’s Holes In The Wall –which was thought of by many as one of the strongest albums of year and was nominated for the 2002 UK Mercury Prize! Layered with symphonic arrangements and studied soundscapes, the band switched gears a bit for the 2003 release of The American Adventure. ESP’s buzz has now reached the US, but both albums are still only available in the U.S. as imports. Tom and Alex are also two quarters of the UK indie buzz band Brakes (Signed to Rough Trade with Eamon of British Sea Power). Brakes’ debut album Give Blood made NME’s Top Albums of the Year list for 2005 and dubbed their single ‘All Night Disco Party’ as the “‘catchiest dancefloor anthem since ‘Take Me Out’”.
