Special 23 Song Racing Them 'Tribute To Racing' CD To Be Released During Race Week in Daytona

A special 23 song racing theme CD called "Tribute to Racing" will be released during race week in Daytona as part of a fundraiser for Halifax Medical Centers "Speediatrics" Pediatric Unit.


The CD's concept creator and songwriter Phil Weidner has been working on the project over the past year with the intention to officially release it during Daytona's upcoming 2006 Race Week. As part of the fundraiser Weidner's band billed as the Racing Tribute Band will perform all of the songs on the CD at the Cancun Lagoon Restaurant Stage (next to the speedway) beginning Feb 16-18, 2006.
