Meet Michael McDonald and Help Fight Hunger in America
Through WHY's Artists Against Hunger And Poverty Program

NEW YORK, NY - Fans of Grammy-Award winning artist Michael McDonald will have the opportunity to meet their favorite artist and at the same time raise funds for WHY (World Hunger Year). McDonald has made available to WHY supporters 20 Meet and Greet tickets for each of his 15 upcoming concerts throughout the United States.
McDonald is a member of an expanding network of artists and celebrities who have banded together to fight hunger and poverty.

Through its Artists Against Hunger and Poverty program, WHY and dedicated artist-activists such as McDonald, Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith have raised awareness and more than $7 million for more than 500 anti-poverty organizations in the U.S. In addition, McDonald was recently honored at the WHY-Chapin awards dinner with the prestigious ASCAP Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award for both his musical career and his vast charitable endeavors.

The concert dates and venues are: Jan. 29, Florida Theatre, Jacksonville, FL.; Jan. 30, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Sarasota, FL.; Feb. 2, Mizner Park, Boca Raton, FL; Feb. 10, Roanoke Civic Center, Roanoke, VA.; March 3 and 4, Resorts International, Atlantic City, NJ.; March 9, Walton Arts Center, Fayetteville, AR.; March 10 and 11, Robinson Center Music Hall, Little Rock, AR.; March 31, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, Cerritos, CA.; April 1, Pala Casino, Pala, CA.; April 2, McCallum Theater for the Performing Arts, Palm Desert, CA.; April 7, Konocti Harbor, Kelseyville, CA.; April 8, Chikchansi Gold, CoarseGold, CA. and April 9, Jackson Rancheria Casino, Jackson, CA.
