Platinum Selling Rockers Yellowcard To Drop Lights And Sounds On Fuse's '7th Avenue Drop' On January 23, 2006
WHO:
To celebrate the release of Lights and Sounds, Yellowcard will stop by
fuse's "7th Avenue Drop" on Monday, January 23, 2006 at 4:00 pm to perform
tracks from their brand new album, and chat with fuse's VJs and live
audience.
A Warped tour favorite, Yellowcard has quickly become one of rock's
fastest-growing acts. The band's 2003 breakthrough album, Ocean Avenue,
has spawned hit singles, sold-out tours, an MTV Video Music Award and
has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Yellowcard's new album,
Lights and Sounds, to be released on January 24, 2006 is even more
ambitious than its predecessor - sonically and lyrically -- encompassing
a broader range of musical styles from the buzzing guitar attack of the
title track to the 25-piece orchestra that graces the sweeping "How I
Go."
Comprised of Ryan Key (lead vocals, guitar), Sean Michael Mackin
(violin, backing vocals), Longineu Parsons III (drums), Pete Mosely
(bass, backing vocals) and Ryan Mendez (lead guitar) are all revved up
to release their new CD, entitled Lights and Sounds (scheduled for
release on January 24, 2006). The album's lead single (also dubbed
"Lights and Sounds") is exploding at Modern Rock radio, with 63
stations adding the track in the past three weeks alone.
