What: Fall Out Boy brings their 'Black Clouds And Underdogs' 2006 arena tour to the St. Pete Times Forum April 27 with special guests All-American Rejects and Hawthorne Heights. In addition, Fall Out Boy has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best New Artist" Category, alongside Ciara, John Legend, Keane and Sugarland. This year's MTV2 VMA award-winner, Fall Out Boy, recently featured on the cover of the December issue of Spin magazine and currently as Alternative Press 'Artist Of The Year', was also named the 'Breakout' band of the year by Entertainment Weekly and the 'Breakthrough' act by People. Their RIAA platinum-plus major label debut album on Island Records, From Under The Cork Tree, is currently #11 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

After completing their two-month sold-out headlining spot on the 'Nintendo Fusion' tour last Fall, Fall Out Boy move up from ballroom and auditorium dates to full-out arena shows - headlining a bill with All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last, and a Decaydance Records act to be named.

From Under The Cork Tree, produced, recorded and mixed by Neal Avron (New Found Glory, Everclear, Wallflowers) was released on May 3rd to a rave review in Rolling Stone; it went on to hold the #1 spot on the influential Alternative Press 'Reader's Chart' for months.

"Sugar, We're Goin' Down," a career-defining single, made it to #1 on MTV's TRL countdown shortly after its debut in April, stayed in the TRL countdown for over 10 weeks, and was the #1 most played video on MTV. At the same time, MTV2 "unleashed" the clip with a rare all-day video premiere, and it rose to the music channel's "Elite 8," emblematic of the support for Fall Out Boy going back to 2004, when MTVU first ran a contest during the recording of the album. The cable network FUSE has also been influential in Fall Out Boy's success, with the video airing hundreds of times since its premiere on Seventh Avenue Drop.

"Dance, Dance," made its TRL premiere in October and quickly hit #1 on the countdown. After enjoying premieres on MTV2, FUSE and Yahoo!, "Dance, Dance" followed its predecessor into "Elite 8" rotation on MTV2 and is receiving extensive play on MTV. The track, currently #15 with a bullet on Billboard's Top 40 Monitor, is a Modern Rock radio favorite and is currently the # 5 most downloaded song on iTunes and # 1 most streamed single at Rhapsody, the # 5 selling Soundscan digital single and the #5 video On AOL Music. "Sugar, We're Goin Down" peaked at #3 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, #6 on both the Top 40 Mainstream and Pop 100 lists, and #8 on the Hot 100. It remains a top seller at iTunes, the # 2 most streamed single at Rhapsody, a top video at Yahoo! Music, AOL Music and the # 10 selling Soundscan digital single.

Fall Out Boy - Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums) - won over audiences on the annual 'Vans Warped Tour' this past summer, playing to thousands of fans daily and drawing the biggest crowds each night. It was followed by their headline run on the sold-out 'Nintendo Fusion Tour.' Critics lauded the band and their performance on the tour. The Chicago Sun Times claimed, "Fall Out Boy's music has a great sense of urgency and depth… Fall Out Boy's wild stage presence is also a breath of fresh air. "

Also appearing on the 'Black Clouds And Underdogs' tour is Hawthorne Heights and All-American Rejects. Hawthorne Heights debut album, The Silence in Black and White, has sold more than 325,000 copies, heading rapidly towards a gold certification. The bands second album, If Only You Were Lonely, is set to release February 28. The All-American Rejects recently released Move Along with their current hit "Dirty Little Secret." Their song "The Bite Back", is available exclusively at iTunes.

Pollstar - the international newsweekly of the music industry, and one of the concert industry's leading publications, released a report today on ticket sales for the first half of 2005. The St. Pete Times Forum, in its ninth year of operation, ranked as the number one venue in the United States, and second in the world, with a total of 238,627 tickets sold to concerts, events and family shows for the period of 1/1/05 - 6/30/05.
