Chicago Hard Rockers Drop To Perform At CyclePalooza On January 28, 2005

JUPITER, Fla. - On January 28th, 2005, CyclePalooza and Moroso Motorsports Park are teaming up to deliver, quite possibly, one of the best bike events in the South. Located at Moroso's 200+ acre facility, combined efforts will unleash non-stop action on the 1/4 mile NHRA Drag Strip, a skateboard street course. Live Bands featuring Drop (headlining at 8:00 pm), RotGut, Crossbone and Slip & The Spinouts, Turboz Custom Cycles Burnout Pit Contest along with Foxy Boxing and Bikini Contest for cash prices and a convoy of bikes riding from north and south points all the way to Jupiter. Don't miss "Skull Frog" and his team who will be performing crazy stunts on 50cc bikes and a local street bike stunt team performing on the drag strip throughout the day. New this year will be a top fuel motorcycle class! Gates will open at 10:00 am.

This year's event will be "Faster. Louder & Bigger." Off the starting line and onto the Midway, there will be plenty for the eyes to see and the hands to do. This will be the ultimate kick-ass cycle scene. In one event, we will offer all the extremes: a huge show, drag racing, skateboarding/BMX, women’s boxing, bikini contest, motorcycle stunts and all kinds of live music.

The Meguiar's Bike Show classes are designed to attract all makes and models. Awards will go to the winner and runner-up in each class. A Best of Show American prize is being sponsored by Red Devil Cycles and Best of Show Import sponsored by Extreme Cycle Toyz are being awarded for $300.00 each..

So, it's understood. This is the extreme bike event of the year, right? What makes the event even better is the way you get to the track. On the morning; of January 28, 2006, starting at 9:00 am, there will be a Charity Poker Run with a North (Treasure Coast Harley Davidson) and South (Palm Beach Harley Davidson) starting points. Participants can purchase a VIP package deal including one hand of poker, and event ticket entrance, a souvenir t-shirt, a Moroso Karting coupon, and VIP parking for $25.00. Stops will include Judy's Highway Cafe, Old Dixie Cafe, and JJ Muggs. Proceeds from the pre-race parties and Poker Run will benefit Kiss the Sky Foundation, with donations being given to the Justin Bender Foundation at Blowing Rocks Preserve, and Forgotten Soldiers Outreach Inc., which sends care packages to soldiers deployed overseas. CyclePalooza Drag Bike Bash at Moroso Motorsports Park gates open 10:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2006. Events and entertainment will last until 10:00 pm with a headline concert featuring Drop - all the way from Chicago headlining the show and playing at 8:00 pm, in honor of the memory Justin Bender. Other bands include Rotgut, Crossbones and Slip and the Spinouts.

Stunt shows by "Skull Frog" and his team, jumping 50cc motorcycles and a local street bike stunt team performing on the dragstrip.

Other events include a bikini show at 7 pm with $400 first prize, Foxy Boxing with a $300 prize, Ice Sitting Competition, Blindfolded Tricycle keg slalom races, a custom bike show with two $300 best of class prizes, and of course motorcycle drag racing all day, including a newly added top fuel class!
