Nebula To Support The Hellacopters Tour Begins March 6, 2006 In Chicago, IL
On March 6, 2006 acclaimed L.A. power trio Nebula will embark on the first
tour – a three-week, nationwide jaunt with labelmates The
Hellacopters (the Swedish quintet’s first U.S. tour in four years) –
in support of new album Apollo (street date: Feb. 21, 2006), the group’s
fourth full-length. Produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, Misfits, L7),
Apollo – which sees the addition of new bassist Tom Davies – features
a bonus bootleg video of new song “Future Days” recorded during a
recent Japanese tour. An MP3 of another new track, “Fever Frey,” has
been posted at liquorandpokermusic.com, where the album is
currently available for pre-order.
The Nebula/Hellacopters tour will also feature New Zealand’s The
Datsuns on three east-coast shows, but when the tour hits Austin,
Texas for the annual music industry conference South By Southwest,
Nebula will perform alongside Sweden’s Division of Laura Lee (Epitaph
Records) at Maggie Mae’s on 6th Street – just around the corner from
Emo’s, where The Hellacopters will play with Turbonegro, The Datsuns
and The Riverboat Gamblers, among others.
