Earlier this month at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas,
Three Days Grace walked away with an award for "Rock Single of the Year"
for the single "Animal I Have Become." Billboard Music Award winners are
determined by performance on Billboard's weekly charts.
ONE-X is the follow up to Three Days Grace's 2003 self-titled platinum
debut. The album ONE-X debuted at #5 on the Billboard Chart earlier this
summer. The first single "Animal I Have Become" was #1 on all rock
formats (alternative, active and mainstream) and stayed #1 at Active for
nine weeks. The track also received a "BDS Spin Award" for outstanding
radio airplay achievement (100,000 spin threshold) and the FMQB Award
for "#1 Rock Song of the Year." The album's latest single "Pain" is
currently #1 at active rock and #18 at alternative this week.
Three Days Grace are Adam Gontier (lead vocals, guitars), Barry Stock
(lead guitar), Neil Sanderson (drums) and Brad Walst (bass, vocals).
