The Dodge Shootout South Florida Bulls Battle Wake Forest And Florida State Seminoles Take On Providence College On Friday December 29, 2006 At St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL
TAMPA BAY - As the St. Pete Times Forum prepares to host the 2007
Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Championship in March, 2007,
the arena will host The Dodge Shootout this Friday beginning at
7 p.m. Catch Tampa's version of the ACC Big East Challenge featuring
the Florida State Seminoles taking to the court against Providence and
USF tipping off against Wake Forest. The doubleheader will give Wake
Forest and Florida State a chance to play in the arena before they
return in March, 2007 for the ACC Tournament. Tickets for the
doubleheader are on sale now.
Beginning with the ACC Tournament in 2007, the Times Forum is scheduled
to play host to some of the top college events in the nation during the
next several years, including the NCAA Women's Final Four in 2008, the
first and second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in
2008, the Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Championship in 2009,
the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship in 2009 and the NCAA Frozen
Four in 2012.
