Matt Nathanson Kicks Off A Fall 2005 National Headlining Tour At The Social In Orlando On October 5, 2005
Band in Preparation for Next Year’s Live Album and New Studio Album
New York, NY - Matt Nathanson is geared up to kick off a national headlining tour in preparation for next year’s live album and new studio album. Taking his full band with him, the tour showcases songs from his extensive back-catalogue as well as upcoming material from next summer’s new studio album.
This will be Matt’s first national tour since his solo acoustic run in April with Tori Amos and his first with the full band since last year. During the months since the release of Beneath These Fireworks, Matt has been busy playing shows with Howie Day, Jason Mraz, G Love, Maroon 5, and Gavin Degraw among others and has been writing new material including “It’s Alright,” a song he co-wrote with OAR for their new album coming out this fall.
An accomplished singer-songwriter, Matt has spent the better part of a decade playing every festival, bar, and hall possible, building a large following of phenomenally dedicated fans. Mixing heartfelt tunes with hilarious onstage banter, he is a performer that “entertains you on every level possible…” (Performing Songwriter Magazine).
