The Click Five Heat Up The Summer On Co-Headline Tour With Pepper's Ghost

Band Readies First Single "Just The Girl" For Pop Radio June 6

NEW YORK, NY--May 9, 2005 - Boston's The Click Five will hit the road May 30 in Cleveland, Ohio on a co-headline tour with Pepper's Ghost. Both bands recently completed a sold out tour with Ashlee Simpson, where the tour mates shared warm-up duties. The Click Five, a power pop quintet on par with Cheap Trick and Matthew Sweet, has sold over 15,000 EPs in a few short months and has experienced countless tales of fan frenzy at their after-show autograph signings. The Click Five's first single "Just The Girl" will hit the airwaves June 6 and the gents are set to release their debut album Greetings From Imrie House August 16.

Things are moving swiftly for the band that joined forces at Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music a little over a year ago. The Click Five just confirmed their slot in Entertainment Weekly's Summer Must List, Teen People's Summer Hot List and recently landed on MTV News with a "You Hear It First" tip. The band's music will makes its big screen debut this summer in the Disney film Sky High, starring Kurt Russell and Kelley Preston. The Click Five also just confirmed a coveted spot on Boston's Kiss 108-FM Concert 2005 alongside Gwen Stefani, Rob Thomas, Jesse McCartney, and Black Eyed Peas.

Greetings From Imrie House pays homage to the bands' Boston house on Imrie Street where they lived while writing the album. Produced by Mike Denneen (Fountains Of Wayne, Aimee Mann, Howie Day), the album features a few unique collaborations with the likes of KISS front man Paul Stanley and Elliot Easton of The Cars fame. "Stacy's Mom" scribe Adam Schlesinger contributed the only songs not written by The Click Five with "Just The Girl" and "I'll Take My Chances."

The Click Five is Eric Dill on lead vocals, Joe Guese on lead guitar, Ethan Mentzer on bass, Ben Romans on keyboards, and Joey Zehr on drums. Visit theclickfive.com for more information.
