New Dead Radio Releases 'Avalon Bridge Will Burn' On June 28, 2005

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles metalcore outfit New Dead Radio will release its debut full-length June 28 via Mediaskare Entertainment.

Entitled “Avalon Bridge Will Burn,” the record was recorded at Undercity Recordings in North Hollywood, Calif., from January to March 2005 with Logan Mader (formerly of Machine Head and Soulfly) and producer Chuck Johnson (AFI, Slipknot, Korn, Sepultura).

Together for three years, New Dead Radio was formed after the breakup of vocalist Sam’s previous band, Mpure. After recruiting guitarist K.J. Duval and bassist Jason Christopher, Sam called upon his former Mpure bandmate, guitarist Jesse Landry, and drummer Glen Crain rounded out the lineup recently.

The group recorded the “F.M. Bleed E.P.” the late summer of 2003 and signed a deal with Mediaskare the following year in December. Music samples from “Avalon Bridge Will Burn” and “F.M. Bleed E.P.” are available on the “Sounds” section of the band’s website.

New Dead Radio is on tour now, with dates lined up through July, and promises to destroy crowds with its intense live performance. “We tour as much as we possibly can,” said Duval. “That is the only way to reach everyone, and we want to reach everyone we possibly can.”
