Atlantic Rocks The Vans Warped Tour

The following Atlantic bands are confirmed for the 2005 Vans Warped Tour. Coming off its most successful year, the Vans Warped Tour presented by Samsung and Cingular Wireless-the all-day punk rock summer camp featuring the best in underground, independent, and free-minded music and action sports-will enter its second decade.

See below for band information and appearance dates:

THE TRANSPLANTS-HEADLINING!

With a highly-anticipated album due out this summer featuring guest appearances by the Boo-Yaa Tribe, Rakaa from Dilated Peoples, B-real and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill, The Transplants have supported the Foo Fighters on a U.S. tour, headlined their own set of East Coast dates, and appeared as guests on Snoop Dogg's "Doggyfizzle Televizzle" and The Jimmy Kimmel Show. "I've always had a hard time describing our records, being as though all 3 of us have different backgrounds and all 3 of us live different lives, but what I can tell you is that [our upcoming album] HAUNTED CITIES is unlike anything else…People ain't gonna know what hit 'em," says Transplant Rob Aston.

FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND

Hailed by NME as "the sort of band that demand nothing less than complete and utter devotion," FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND has already emerged as a phenomenon in their native Britain, drawing rave reviews and a rabid fanbase for their striking whirlpool of sound. Scheduled for release in early June, "HOURS," the Welsh quintet's debut Atlantic Records release, is the eagerly anticipated follow-up to their breakthrough first album, "CASUALLY DRESSED & DEEP IN CONVERSATION."

Catch Funeral for a Friend July 20-August 15.

GRATITUDE

Named one of Rolling Stone's "10 Bands to Watch," Gratitude is powered by
thick guitars, infectious rhythms and undeniably catchy choruses and verses. In the words of frontman Jonah Matranga, "I truly think this is a band for everyone," At our shows, I want to see mullets and horn-rimmed glasses and mohawks. We didn't set out to make a band for everyone-I just think it is."

Catch Gratitude August 3-August 15.

MOMENTS IN GRACE

With the evocative, highly charged "MOONLIGHT SURVIVED," Moments In Grace has made an album that openly shares who they are and what they care about. "The album is all about hope, love, and loss," says bassist Jake Brown. "It's about that point where you learn to live with your scars and finally find a way to have closeness in your life. It's an attempt to freeze that moment in time." Happy to have realized their vision in the studio, Moments In Grace are now sharing their music from the live stage, determined to create a truly inclusive union between band and audience.

Catch Moments in Grace August 4-August 7.
