Frankie J's Best-Selling Album The One Released as DualDisc Featuring Exclusive & Intimate Frankie J Documentary

In Stores Now

NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ - The new DualDisc edition of R&B/Pop superstar Frankie J's best-selling new album, The One, featuring the hit singles "Obsession
(No Es Amor)" and "How To Deal," is in stores now.

The DualDisc version of The One includes an in-depth documentary capturing the whirlwind excitement
surrounding Frankie J in New York during the album's release week in March 2005. An up-close and intimate chronicle of the emerging superstar at-work and at-play in glittering Manhattan, the exclusive DualDisc documentary utilizes sizzling performance footage, appearances on
"TRL" and in-stores, back-stage action at the album
release party, and intimate interviews with the artist to
create a revelatory behind-the-scenes portrait of Frankie J.

The audio only side of The One features the album, in its entirety, while the DVD side includes the full album
in pristine PCM Stereo.

Originally released to stores on March 22, 2005, the CD edition of The One debuted at #3 -- the highest position of any new album entering the chart that week -- on the Billboard Top 200 bestselling albums chart and was
certified Gold by the RIAA as of May 27, 2005.

With true first week's sales of 130,346 pieces, according to SoundScan, The One has generated the best single week's sales figures of Frankie J's solo career. (Released in May 2003, his debut solo album, What's A Man To Do?, entered the Top 200 at #53, with first week's sales of 20,274.)

Born in Tijuana and raised in San Diego, vocalist Frankie J came to early prominence as a dance music artist, then
as a lead singer in the platinum Latin pop group AB Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kings (whose 1999 debut album sold half a million copies and earned the group a Grammy nomination). His 2003 debut solo album, What's A Man To Do?, featured the smash hit, "Don't Wanna Try."
