Films are pleased to announce the home viewing release
of Beulah – A Good Band Is Easy To Kill for worldwide distribution on DVD.
In the fall of 2003, Beulah hit the road to support their last release, “YOKO”. The true indie stalwarts, Beulah and their three-man crew, trekked eight thousand miles to take their music to twenty-three markets. More than ninety hours of footage was shot over the course of five weeks as they journeyed their way throughout the USA and Canada. They played packed houses, but they also pumped their own
gas, booked their own shows and drove their own vans.
A Good Band Is Easy To Kill is not a concert movie, it is a tour movie. The movie itself runs 89 minutes and features footage from every stop on tour--from San Francisco to Montreal and back again. This DVD documents Beulah's
last tour, chronicling a magnificent band that broke up all
too soon. It also includes nearly two hours of bonus
material: seventeen full songs of Beulah in concert (spanning their entire discography) and twenty deleted scenes with
footage from every stop of the tour.
Tour-opener John Vanderslice makes his unique
presence felt throughout,
as well.
