Socal Rockers Unwritten Law Hit The Road With 311
And Papa Roach
Band Continues To Promote Chart-Topping Album Here's
To The Mourning
New York, NY - June 27, 2005 - SoCal rockers Unwritten
Law will hit the road with 311 beginning August 2 in
Tuscon, Arizona. Papa Roach joins the tour August 6 in
Salt Lake City, Utah. Unwritten Law will promote their
latest release, the chart-topping Here's To The Mourning, which has sold over 125,000 copies and spawned several rock hits including the Top 5 single and MTV2 favorite
"Save Me."
Guitarist Steve Morris shares his anticipation for this
tour, "We are very stoked to be going on the road with
311 and Papa Roach. We have been a fan of both
bands for a long time so it should very cool."
While Unwritten Law are known for their raucous live
shows-the band recently completed a sold out stint on
tour with punk pals Sum 41 and will appear on select
dates of this summer's Dew Action Sports Tour-new disc Here's To The Mourning has received praise across the board. Rolling Stone describes the band as "turning out high-impact barnburners with just enough pop quirks to distinguish the band from its SoCal brethren," and Stuff Magazine offers, "[Unwritten Law] get more powerful with each release (just like sperm.)"
Here's To The Mourning is the band's official follow-up to break through album Elva which has sold upwards of 400,000 copies and included the #1 alternative hit "Seein' Red." All told, the band has sold over 900,000 albums. In addition to Steve Morris, Unwritten Law is Scott Russo on vocals/guitar, Pat Kim on bass, and drummer Tony Palermo.
