My Chemical Romance Nominated for Four MTV Video Music Awards

Burbank, CA - (Market Wire) - 07/25/2005 - It was
announced today that Reprise Records' My Chemical Romance was nominated for four MTV Video Music
Awards.

My Chemical Romance received nominations in the Best Rock Video, Best New Artist In A Video, the MTV2 Award
and Best Choreography In A Video for their hit "Helena."
The video was directed by Marc Webb.

My Chemical Romance's "Three Cheers for Sweet
Revenge" was released on June 8, 2004, and debuted
at the top of the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. The band
has received extensive media attention both on
television and in print press, performing their hits on
"Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Late Show with
David Letterman," "Last Call with Carson Daly" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live"; and gracing the covers of Alternative Press and Spin as well as being prominently featured on the
pages of Blender, Rolling Stone, Revolver, Guitar World
and Bass Player. The band has also had multiple appearances on Fuse's Daily Download and their
videos remain in heavy rotation on the channel. My
Chemical Romance won the "Who's Next" contest on
Yahoo! in August 2004 and recorded Sessions@AOL
earlier this year.

The band was featured on MTV's highly acclaimed series for new music, "Discover and Download," which led to an appearance on TRL's "Spankin' New" Music Week. A
current TRL darling, My Chemical Romance's video for "Helena" has stayed at the top of the TRL playlist for many consecutive days. They were also the first band to be selected for MTV's groundbreaking "10 Spot Drop," and performed on the 2$ Bill concert from Buffalo earlier this year.

The band continues as a headlining act on the Vans
