Khierstin Celebrates The Release Of Lost In This The Much Anticipated Debut EP With Showcase Concerts At House of Blues Anaheim On Friday July 15th The Joint on Tuesday July 19th Plush Lounge at Key Club on Friday August 12th

Former model Khierstin Nichole fronts the up & coming
indie rock band KHIERSTIN, that bears her first name.
To celebrate the release of Lost In This, the
anticipated debut EP (for sale on CDBaby.com), she
and the band are setting up a series of showcase
concerts for the quickly growing audience as well as
the music industry and media.

Khierstin

The first in a blitz of gigs announced so far includes this Friday July 15, 2005, 8:30 PM at the House
of Blues in Anaheim (Orange County), Tuesday July 19, 2005, 9:00 PM, at The Joint in Los Angeles and Friday August 12, 2005, 9:30 PM, at the Plush Lounge at Key
Club in Hollywood.

Though together only a relatively brief time, 19-year old Khierstin – Rob Miranda (lead guitar), and Chris Hendrich (drums) -- have been in the studio with chart-topping producer Michael Eckert (Candyman, Staci Q), where they recorded their EP Lost In This. Basil Fung, Alanis Morissette's guitar player, also lent Khierstin his guitar skills & expertise on the EP. The band is already winning fans, based on their frenetic performances and thoroughly likable songs.

KHIERSTIN has been so dedicated to the release of their EP, that front-woman Khierstin Nichole has even turned down a chance to appear on the upcoming reality TV series "Rock Star," where a group of singers try out to become the new lead singer for 80s sensation band INXS. But the band prefers to win fans the tried and true way because, as Khierstin reasons, “The songs are about things that people can relate to; good days and bad days, love and relationships.”

One of the surprises to land on the EP is Chris Isaak's “Wicked Game” and the rest of the EP showcases KHIERSTIN's range as musicians, and her vocal and songwriting diversity, from dance beats of “About You” to laid back “Outside.” The EP’s title track “Lost in This” showcases guitar intricacies, while the fourth original is another must-hear.
