Atreyu On Tour With Scars of Tomorrow - The Thick As Theives Tour 2005 - Tour Dates Listed

In 2002, a band called Atreyu exploded out of Orange County. Previously unknown to the rest of the world, the band released their stunning debut album, Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses, grabbing the attention of a wide spectrum of music fans by demolishing the barriers between rock, melodic hardcore and metal. Critical raves poured in from publications like LA Times, Guitar World, and Metal Maniacs, who commented, “…the Southern California five-piece brings new definition to overnight success.” With their latest album, The Curse, Atreyu have honed their personal style even more, exceeding all expectations and expanding the boundaries of metallic rock yet again.

Atreyu have been extremely busy this last year with TV appearances on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball, Fuse’s Daily Download and a relentless touring schedule. Atreyu spent last summer on the entire Ozzfest tour and followed up this fall on the road in support of bands like The Used, Taking Back Sunday, and more.

On tour with Atreyu are labelmates and SoCal’s next big thing, Scars Of Tomorrow. Their Victory debut, “Rope Tied To The Trigger”, is eleven tracks of American metalcore spawned by personal struggle and raw emotion yet still maintaining a sense of positivity. It is a musical fusion of hostility and aggression with plenty of mosh parts - met with sensuous melodic guitar segments and earnest lyrics. The SoCal metalcore scene continues to develop; and Scars Of Tomorrow will be an integral contributor to its evolution.
