Daytona Beach, FL Songwriter Phil Weidner To Release Special "Tribute To Racing" CD During Daytona's Speedweek in February 2006

Daytona Beach Songwriter Phil Weidner aka Fylo Zoet will be releasing a special CD called "Tribute To Racing" during the Daytona's 2006 Speedweek in February 2006.


The CD comprises of 23 original racing theme songs which have been recorded under the band name "The Racing Tribute Band."

Phil Weidner came up with the concept of the project while attending last years Daytona 500. The songs have also been submitted to Fox Sports for possible use during their NASCAR broadcasts.

As part of the CD release the band will be performing live at several locations throughout the Daytona Beach area during speedweek. In addition, the band plans to schedule many performances at or around other stock car racing events held throughout the country in 2006.

Phil Weidner who is also president and founder of the Songwriters Showcases of America plans to incorporate the organizations existing concepts by scheduling other acts and guest musicians throughout the tour.
