Local Hard Rock/Metal Band(s) Needed To Perform In Benefit Concert For Tampa Bay Band Sudden Death At Rockerfella's In Bradenton, FL On April 30, 2005
Local metal act Sudden Death recently fell victim to a house fire. The house, which 3 of the members lived in, burnt to the ground. The cause was an electrical malfunction in a lamp that one of the members had accidentally left on.
Unfortunately, most of the bands promotional tools, years of video, and a couple guitars were destroyed, as well as many personal belongings. Luckily, their equipment was stored in their practice space in another location.
Because of this, we in Absolutely Nothing have decided to throw a benefit for our brothers in arms. The show will be taking place on APRIL 30, 2005 at Rockerfellas on US 41 in Bradenton, FL (Big thanks to Jon Drenning for allowing us to throw this)
On the bill as of April 1, 2005 are : Absolutely Nothing, Sudden Death, and WARP. We are still looking for at least one more band to fill the bill, and we have set an April 8th deadline for bands to come to us to donate their time for this cause. If we get a big reply for this from other bands, then we can turn this into an all night bash!!!
If interested, please contact Absolutely Nothing management at: Cathy@absolutelynothingrocks.com
And we urge anyone that can make it out to please come out. This is for a good cause and we guarantee that all proceeds will go to Sudden Death to help them recoup losses and help them obtain new housing.
Thanks, and rock on!
