Kevin Says Go See Skindred On The Vans Warped Tour Genre Defying Rockers Land Spot On Ultimate Punk Rock Summer Camp

NEW YORK, NY-April 21, 2004 - Hybrid rockers Skindred, fronted by distinct Welsh Rastapunk and former Dub War vocalist Benji Webbe, have confirmed a spot on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour on the "Kevin Says" & "Volcom" stages. Kevin Lyman, founder of the Vans Warped Tour, created his namesake stage to showcase up and coming artists; and the notorious punk rock clothing and entertainment company Volcom has hosted Fall Out Boy, Letter Kills, and Juliette Lewis & The Licks on their rowdy stage. U.K. lads Skindred will continue to support their Lava Records debut album Babylon, which has sold in excess of 150,000 copies.

Skindred builds a bridge between reggae, rock, dance-hall and punk and their well received new single "Pressure" recently won #1 Keeper by the fans on Fuse's Oven Fresh show. Following in the footsteps of the first single "Nobody" which reached Top 10 at rock radio, "Pressure" scored #2 Most Added honors first week out. Babylon has seared a lasting impression on the Reggae chart, hovering in the Top 10 for months. Skindred has honed their touring chops with such heavy-hitters as Korn, Papa Roach, and Sevendust.

Babylon has been critically acclaimed on both sides of the pond.
