said Chuck Comeau of Simple Plan. "It's amazing to think that millions of
people all over the world will be able to watch our show live no matter how
far away they live or what time zone they are in. Since day one our goal has
always been to reach as many people as possible with our music and tours.
Now AOL Music LIVE! gives us a fantastic opportunity to offer a free concert
to all our fans around the world, and also to be discovered by millions of
people who might not have heard of us. We're really stoked to be playing a
legendary venue like the Troubadour and we can't wait for the show. It's
going to be sick!"
"We are thrilled to have Simple Plan perform for AOL Music LIVE," said Jack
Isquith, Executive Director of Music Industry Relations for AOL Music.
"Simple Plan has been an AOL success story from day one, building a
passionate online audience and we, along with their fans, look forward to
seeing them in a historic and intimate venue like the Troubadour.

Charlotte for what many consider one of the hottest tours this spring. The
band is touring in support of their recently released sophomore album, Still
Not Getting Any, which has sold over 1 million copies and has garnered
critical accolades. The album features the hit, "Welcome to My Life," and
their current single, "Shut Up." No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls, Simple
Plan's 2002 debut album, which spawned several Top 10 hits including "I'd Do
Anything," "Addicted" and "Perfect," has sold over 2 million copies to date.
As part of this special AOL Music LIVE! event, fans are encouraged to donate
to Keep a Child Alive ,an organization
dedicated to providing life-saving medicine to children and families with
AIDS in Africa.

through giveaways on KISS-FM radio in Los Angeles and through Simple Plan's
official fan club.
