Guitarist Marc Seal Joins Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana & Friends At The Crossroads Guitar Festival In Dallas Texas

DALLAS, TX – (May 21st, 2004) - Guitarist Marc Seal will be joining the top guitarists and musicians in the world as he performs at The Crossroads Guitar Festival at Fair Park in Dallas Texas on Sunday June 6th at 3:30 PMMarc Seal and his band will perform on the Ernie Ball Stage in The Guitar Center Village. The Guitar Center Village will open to the public at 10:00am and remain open through the remainder of the day, followed that afternoon by the spectacular culmination of the festival with an 11-hour concert at the Cotton Bowl with such guitar luminaries as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Carlos Santana, just to name a few. The Crossroads Guitar Festival is the first event of its kind to create a unique bridge between fans and musicians through leading guitar manufacturer exhibits and guitar clinics. 

Attendees will be offered once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to be in an intimate setting with artists such as Marc Seal, giving fans the ultimate look into their craft. This one-time event, created for music enthusiasts around the globe, will raise money for Crossroads Centre Antigua, the treatment and education center founded in 1997 by Eric Clapton. Practically born with a guitar in his hands, guitarist Marc Seal has been accurately described as a ‘melodic technician,' internationally renowned for his high level of musical accomplishments, fluid style and progressive rock sensibilities. A new as-yet untitled Marc Seal sixth album is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2004.

Marc Seal is the virtual host of instrument and gear retail giant Guitar Center’s GuitarSchool.net. Marc’s online instructional program is called The Ultimate Guitar Show™ and is presented by Educational Content Developers. 

About Crossroads:

Founded in 1997, Crossroads Centre, Antigua was created to provide treatment and education to chemically dependent persons, those with other compulsive addictive behaviors, their families and significant others.  Treatment is provided through residential care, family and aftercare programs. The pathway to recovery is founded on the movement toward a change in lifestyle. Crossroads Centre, Antigua also operates a 16 bed halfway-house called The Bevon House (exclusively for local Antiguan residents) and facilitates a school-based education series, Breaking the Cycle, in all local schools.
