Trans-Siberian Orchestra Takes the Holiday Season and Record Charts by Storm - New Album THE LOST CHRISTMAS EVE Certified Gold in Six Weeks!!!!

Group to bring their magic back to Good Morning America with a special performance on December 14th

New York, NY- December 13, 2004 - The TSO phenomenon is taking over the holidays once again! With a whole new album of material, the group’s exhilarating brand of rock is further reaffirming their place as an American holiday tradition. In just six weeks the group’s latest studio album The Lost Christmas Eve has been certified gold. The new album further solidifies the group’s nationwide success, joining a string of past recordings to achieve the coveted gold standard. In addition to their latest achievement, TSO’s previous two album releases, Christmas Eve & Other Stories and The Christmas Attic have been certified double platinum and platinum respectively.

Established in 1996 by producer/composer/lyricist Paul O'Neill, who immediately brought on longtime writing partners Robert Kinkel and Jon Oliva, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has crafted inspirational music and delivered compelling live performances that have attracted fans from the ages of 7 to 70. With its timeless message, TSO has become a holiday essential amongst music lovers. The cross-pollination of talent and musical genres is what has made TSO’s style so unique. The group has become one of the season’s most requested acts to be played on radio during the holidays-- receiving over 12,000 spins in 2003 alone!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s concert tours have grown rapidly from year to year, and have now been attended by over 1 million people. The group’s 2003 holiday tour sold out 62 out of 85 nights across the nation, making TSO one of the Top 5 Live Holiday Entertainment Attractions in the United States on the tour is on the way to becoming of this season’s top grossing outings.
