Mos Def - December Tour Dates Announced - On The Road In Support of The New Danger.

“No one is doing more to change our notion of how hip hop can sound”

– New York Daily News

New York, NY, November 30, 2004—Mos Def is back on the road in support of The New Danger with a club tour to kick off on December 4th in St. Louis Missouri.

Since its release, The New Danger has been met with praise from both fans and critics alike. Rolling Stone gave the album 4 stars and declared Mos Def “dazzingly talented,” while USA Today said Mos Def is “an inventive and versatile rapper,” and with “energetic forays into rock, blues, jazz and old-school R&B, Mos Def busts loose from rap’s usual sonic confines.” XXL proclaimed, “…from distorted, lo-fi rock and rhythmic pounding soul to raucous fuck-you punk style, Mos holds nothing back on his creative journey.”

In addition to the album, Mos Def recently finished work on the Disney film The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which will hit theaters in 2005. Def’s next motion picture release, The Woodsman is set for release on December 24th, 2004.

Sunday, December 5th Chicago, IL House of Blues
