The Working Title
"About Face " CD Review

June 1, 2006 - If you want to hear a tolerable raw voice and well written story telling lyrics, then this album is for you. It is very easy to listen to the piano driven and guitar calming melodies.
The first track comes in sounding arena huge and it prepares you for the overall sound of this South
Carolina group.

The Working Title |
It is alternative, melancholy and melodically well balanced. Track number 6 "The Crash" has a Cold Play sound and the singer's falsetto takes you through the adventure his lyrics explore. It is a fantastic combination of melodies with complimentary and creative choice of instrumental blend.
Track # 10 is "The Mary Getaway" and it speaks of memories of what a loved one has done to you, a memory anyone could relate to.
"There is None" is a song of longing and love, automatically one of my favorites. So, listen up to this album and enjoy Joel Hamilton's very human lyrics. Not being afraid to express his love for the first time and days of feeling fallen, make this album appealing and therapeutic at the same time.
