Trivium along with their label, Roadrunner release "Ascendancy " on March 15 of this year. Hailing from Orlando Florida this heavy, yet melodic band releases their own kind of Metal sound that is unique in nature when compared to other metal acts.
The CD artwork could not fit the intense feel of this band better. The colors take your mind to the right place to enjoy the heavy, but harmonic sound of Trivium music.
This project has some of the most amazing guitar and vocal ranges making Trivium a stand out band who can sing and scream to any metal music fan. No metal collection can be considered complete without this album. 1. The End Of Everything -
The heavy drum rolls throughout this song will make you start head banging and sets the tone for the remainder of the ride.
2. Rain -
The beginning of this song is enough to capture every style of music enthusiast while calming your soul. Just as you began to drift into that special place music takes your mind this song explodes into a heavy metal sound with both heavy and harmonic vocals.
3. Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr-
Pantera meets Blue Oyster Cult makes an interesting mix.
4. Drowned And Torn Asunder -
The chorus of this song will stick in your head. The guitar talents of this band come together in this track.
5. Ascendancy -
Titled after the album this song changes from heavy to harmonic guiding you through the deep lyrics.
6. A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation -
Intense lyrics about abuse. Unbelievable and flawless guitar solo make this song.
7. Like Light To The Flies -
This is a must read lyrics song. Good thing they are inside the cover.
8. Dying In Your Arms -

and guitar that is so smooth it just flows like water.

Heavy death metal beginning, middle, and end. Stand out drums will make you get the feel on this track.

The lyrics to this song will make you feel helpless yet drawn into the pain.
