Society 1
Concert Review
at The Boiler Room - Seminole , FL |
July 4, 2005 - While best thinking of words to describe
this band the word "SCORE" comes to the top of my
mind. Having never heard the material or the band at all
I was completely attentive to the above par and full of
energy performance this band gave out to the crowd.

The band was tight in timing while maintaining the wild
stage presence that you really have to keep up on just
to see everything that is going on with these obviously insane Artists.
This band has real lyrics, real pounding material, real
good looks, making them all real
ROCKSTARS in my
criteria book. Even their road crew rocked hard as they played their above the cuff show
in a style all their own.

I can say without a doubt that Society 1 earned several new loyal fans including myself. I would not hesitate to make another live show and would suggest any real hard rock, metal, gothic and industrial fans make it out to see this band while they are still playing some intimate venues. I expect you will hear a lot more buzz about this band in the coming months as they spread their unique madness across the country. Society 1 consists of:
Matt "The Lord" Zane - vocals
Sin - guitars
Dirt - Bass
Berzerk Kirk - Drums
Society 1 is from Los Angeles, CA and tour on a regular basis. Check out the official band site at Society1.net or Myspace.com/society1 for tour dates and information on how to get their new CD, "The Sound That Ends Creation" with above grade tracks such as, "No Father" and "Bleed" which have all the elements required to head bang until it hurts.
