June 14, 2006 - Seether, an Alt. Rock band well known for their in your face rock and hard core metal lyrics is looking to show a little more of their soft side. But don’t worry guys; they’re not willing to let go of their aggressive edge to do it.

“One Cold Night,” a two disc acoustic album/ DVD combo is assured to rock you inside and out. The fans screaming in the background draw you in as part of the laid back live experience. Even without the cut of an amp and a hot electric guitar, the resonance is indispensable. Seether brings it right into your face. Screaming with domination through the raw description in their lyrics. With a recap of hard line favorites like Gasoline, Remedy, and a recognizable version of Pearl Jam’s “Immortality, this album gives you a new reason to take notes all over again.

Their new single, “The Gift” is just as good unplugged as it is in full effect. Lead Vocalist Shaun Morgan releases a weight of emotion that clings to you. His strong Alternative Grunge bleeds through the speakers leaving your eardrums raw. Don’t believe me?! Well you can check it for yourself. This album has a bonus track. The Alternative version of “The Gift,” appropriately placed at the end of the CD. It’s loud, hot, and aggressive, leaving you pulsating like an addict just wanting for more.

Unlike some music DVD's the production values on
"One Cold Night" are first rate with superb lighting and acoustics. You also won't find any annoying camera shake that plague some live DVD's (that are) included with music CD's. Seether went all out with this effort and it clearly has paid off with a live CD/DVD you will watch and listen to over and over again.

If that's not enough, the bonus section of the DVD gives you an inside look at the band, with a live interview led by WMMR legend Pierre Robert. Also Included are photos from the LIVE acoustic performance at Philadelphia’s Grape Street, and “The Gift” music video.
