Saliva "Survival of the Sickest" CD Review |
Island Recording Artist Saliva brings it hard in their album Survival of the Sickest. The third album to drop from this group starts out with a rock and roll anthem Rock and Roll Revolution, which is sure to bring you to your feet and have you banging your head old school style.
Chris D of Saliva |
Different than previous albums, Salvia uses more rock and roll influences than ever before. The album stays pretty hard during the first 4 songs and then unwinds a bit on the song No Regrets. Then switching gears in the next song Two Steps Back the group throws you for a curve citing the political mishap of country music's Dixie Chicks. The group then sends a warning to all those who have wronged them in the song F**K All Ya'll, they make it pretty clear with lyrics like "if your f**king me then I'll f**k with you," that this is a group that you don't want to cross.

Saliva rises to new levels on this album and brings more of a rock and roll flavor that we have been craving. This album is a definite must buy for any metal fan.

The Sickest" is available at records everywhere or can be purchased online at Amazon.com.
