Papa Roach
At House of Blues |
March 29, 2005/Myrtle Beach, SC - Papa Roach lived up to their reputation, sounding as pure and energetic live as they do on their recordings. Jacoby Shaddix is rapidly building a reputation as one of the better frontmen in music today. His bandmates were equally impressive.
Featuring new songs like "Getting Away
With Murder" and "Scars" along with
some of their older material the band built a good rapport with the crowd and proved to be worth the price of admission. Hopefully the band will consider releasing a live
album
in the near future.
The only downside of the concert is that a large number of very young children were on hand for this show and the language in some of Papa Roach's songs may be considered inappropriate for younger children.
All in all, however, Papa Roach gives concertgoers a superb show and great bang for their music buck. Fans who have not yet seen Papa Roach live are missing out on one of today's better live bands.
Papa Roach is from Sacramento, CA. Their latest CD "Getting Away With Murder" is now available at all the usual Outlets. Online users can purchase the album at Amazon.com.
