"When You Go" CD Single Review
Released By: Wind-Up Records |
June 14, 2006 - It is promising that this Delaware band may be sharing a place on the Billboard Hot 100 someday, replacing such bands as Daniel Powter (finally!).

Omnisoul |
“When You Go” is an inspiring well crafted single sounding perfect for a show like MTV’s Laguna Beach. The song has clever phrasing and great instrumental arrangement providing singer Derek Fuhrmann with enough edge to steer clear from being categorized as plain pop or the unforgiving “boy band”.
This single rocks with a catchy chorus in tow and a wholesome vocalist that shares his emotional lyrics
and some contributing creative arrangements. Resembling such vocalists as Howie Day and John Mayer, appealing to an audience should not be a problem. The song begins with an acoustic guitar and then the piano comes in as an uplifting attempt to guide you to the undoubtedly catchy and explosive chorus.
The arrangement of instruments and background vocals in the chorus contributes to the soul that Derek Fuhrmann already delivers in this single.
If Omnisoul’s upcoming album contains all the elements in this single, they should be expecting much success and quickly.
"When You Go" is now available on iTunes.
