Well, these days it seems Julien has had no problem winning over any crowd small or large, young or older. His warm, and easily expressive voice shares with you a little bit of Julien's soul each time he sings.

As I watch the spotlight dim over him I see a sense of reassurance and comfort in his eyes and from the very first strings he plucks on his guitar to the very last note he sings I notice other members of the audience are truly enchanted by his performance as well. He sings of hope, "changes", and life and plays a song for everyone.

Karma Lounge in Fort Lauderdale set a perfect environment for his intimate acoustic set of 10 very powerful song choices. With low conversation and fancy martinis, Julien made Karma an even more enjoyable Thursday night.

It's always fun to listen and learn about the performer and Julien is not shy in sharing with you thoughts and experiences on where he has been and where he wants to go. His songs mean very much to him and he takes time to tell you from where they derive. His songs are from far being typical ballads as you may assume due to my romantic description mentioned before. It's pop rock in its most creative form. He is lyrically inventive, not allowing phrases like "she broke my heart and then left me lonely" leave his mouth.

He is a witty performer and allows for the perfect hooks to spring the audience into singing along to his choruses the next time around. Julien is currently in the studio collaborating with well established Producers for his debut album to be titled "The Prayer".

If you want to have fun, experience the powerful and demanding vocal ability of Julien Rodriguez, you can catch him playing out from South Beach to Fort Lauderdale certain nights a week. Warning: be prepared to talk about him the rest of the night. You won't be able to get his tunes nor his pleasant looks to escape your mind.
