Elefant
"The Black Magic Show " CD Review
Release Date: April 18, 2006
Released By: Hollywood Records |
May 12, 2006 - Since the inception of the British invasion of music there have been many American groups that have captured the essence of this genre. We can now add one more group to that list, Elefant. Fresh from Hollywood Records this band mixes easy dance grooves, crisp vocals, and solid guitar riffs.

A personal favorite, Lolita, is said to be homage to novelist Valdimir Nabokov's most prominent work. With its transformation between punchy and smooth melodic tones and harmonic backing vocals this song illustrates mans lust for a beautiful woman.
The bittersweet lyrics that are prevalent throughout the album are written by Deigo Garcia vocalist and writer for the group. With Garcia taking inspiration from his own life, adding to it the groups exquisite melodies they have in fact created a musical masterpiece of emotion that should be part of everyone's collection.
Elefant is from New York, NY and tour on a regular basis. For more band information log onto the Elefant website. To same music visit the Elefant page at Myspace.com.
