The lyrics, most of which were written by Chantal Chamandy herself, pull you in and take you on a journey of life, love and politics.

In Crazy, she follows suit in true female form pushing the boundaries of taste and tact with its passionate and provocative lyrics. Never crossing the line between the two she is able to express such unbridled passion without going too far and her sultry vocals only add to the overall effect of the song.

In Free, she voices her political stance on war in a gentle and subtle way. With one part voicing the necessity of war "never questions why cause she knows he loves his country a place that needs to be safe for our children to grow." and another part voicing concern over the ever present fear of death and loss .

Amor di mi vida (love of my life) written all in Spanish the song is more of a love letter written in such a way that you feel as if you are watching a beautiful love affair unfold right before your eyes. Singing with such a passion you can feel the emotion behind every pitch, tone a word, a trait that is felt throughout the CD.

Mixing musical style from east and west this infusion gives this album a well rounded worldly feel. Her firm belief in love and her experience as a wife, mother and child have given her a maturity that shines thru in every song.
