Bullet For My Valentine
"The Poison " CD Review
By Shawn Brandon/FloridaEntertainmentScene.com
Release Date: February 14, 2006
Released By: Red Ink/Sony Records |
March 21, 2007 - Bullet For My Valentine has been around for a few years but when their CD “The Poison” blew up they became a house hold name among metalheads far & wide. The CD opens with a guitar laden instrumental & then plunges full speed ahead with “Her Voice Resides."

Bullet For My Valentine |
Don’t be fooled cause the popular songs “Tears Don’t Fall & “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)” aren’t the only great songs from this Bridgend, UK band.
Matthew Tuck once posted the question "Where the fuck have all the riffs gone?" Well ladies and gentlemen they are all on “The Poison”. Turk’s mixture of raw & clean vocals, Turk & Michael Paget blistering guitar riffs & catchy hooks & the outstanding rhythm section of Jason James( Bass) & Michael Thomas( Drums) makes BFMV a cut about the rest in this sometimes crowded genre we call Metal.
I could list all the songs on “The Poison” I like but I’d have the whole CD listed so due yourself a favor, run out & get it now. If you like monster/catchy riffage, soaring vocals & tight rhythms this is the CD you’ve been waiting for.
Bullet For My Valentine Is:
Matthew Tuck - Guitar/Vocals
Michael "Padge" Paget - Guitar/Background Vocals
Jason "Jay" James - Bass/Background Vocals
Michael "Moose" Thomas - Drums
Bullet For My Valentine is from Bridgend, Wales and tour on a regular basis.
