WHY:
Guitar virtuoso AARON MCLAIN is set to perform at “Rebel with a Cause,” a benefit show for SANGHA, which will raise money to help poverty stricken and handicapped children in India.
This show will be on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 9:00 pm at the Seminole Hard Rock in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
SANGHA, started to help tsunami-affected woman and children by healthcare experts in 2005, is a non-profit company that is dedicated to using technology to help build a self-sustaining bridge out of poverty in India.
The “Rebel with a Cause” benefit will specifically raise monies to fund SANGHA’s Mobile Health Program, which brings doctors into needed areas for these children, and also their teaching program where community workers go to these areas and teach handicapped children Braille, sign language, give them physical therapy, and more. Additionally, SANGHA will train the disabled children to gain economic independence by providing a computer training program to learn data entry, and also handicraft training. 100% of the proceeds of this show will go to SANGHA.
