Avenged Sevenfold's "Almost Easy" Is Number One Most-Added Track At Rock Radio For Second Week In A Row

Track Is Lead-Off Single From Band's Upcoming Self-Tittled Album Due From Warner Bros. Records On October 30, 2007

SEPTEMBER 27, 2007 - Burbank, CA - Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled new CD isn't out till next month, but the album's first single, "Almost Easy," is already blowing up at radio stations across the country. The song, which was released September 25th, is the most-added track at rock radio for the second week in a row and the band's first Number One with this album, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records on October 30, 2007. "Almost Easy" is also exploding at the modern rock format.

Avenged Sevenfold - which the New York Times has called "...an all-out bid for modern-rock radio hegemony" - is the Huntington Beach, CA, quintet's fourth album. It is the follow-up to 2006's City of Evil, which spawned three hit singles, including the Modern Rock smash "Bat Country," which also earned them a 2006 MTV Video Music Award for "Best New Artist."

The band - frontman M. Shadows, guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer The Rev - will hit the road for a U.S. tour kicking off on October 29, 2007 in Los Angeles. Known for electrifying live sets and fueled by their rabid fan base, Avenged Sevenfold are the only band to headline Warped Tour and Ozzfest, and be Number One on MTV's TRL at the same time.
