Mayday Parade Set To Release Debut Full-Length Album On July 10, 2007 On Fearless Records Band Now On The Road To Promote Album

Mayday Parade, pop-punk quintet from Tallahassee, FL is set to release their debut full-length A Lesson In Romantics July 10th on Fearless Records.

Mayday Parade: Vocalist Derek Sanders, bass/vocals Jeremy Lenzo, guitarist Alex Garcia, guitarist Brook Betts and drummer/vocalist Jake Bundrick wrote A Lesson In Romantics while touring nationwide last year. This album is all about relationships built and broken during the long months on the road. "This album shows both the great things about relationships and the depressing things. They are about lessons we have learned and how we have each dealt with heartbreak and the feelings of happiness, sadness, bitterness, and loneliness in our relationships," says Derek Sanders, vocalist. "These are lessons everyone has to learn and it is important for others to know that there are others that are going through the same sort of things. Most of us in the band will be single for a while," Derek says smiling.

A Lesson In Romantics began to take shape early in 2007 with the help of producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Cartel, All Time Low, Collective Soul) in Atlanta, GA. "We were all really nervous going into the studio with big time producers but it was an awesome experience, we created a record everyone loved and we all became great friends," says Alex Garcia.

This debut full length album showcases the bands maturity and growth. The songs are much deeper and more powerful than those on the bands EP Tales Told By Dead Friends which Fearless re-released earlier this year after the band sold 20,000 copies of the EP on their own. While the band's sound grows between the EP and full length, Mayday Parade retain that irresistible catchiness that made thousands of people fall in love with the band to begin with. Once the honesty of their lyrics and the power of their music enters your head, not only will it be stuck there for days, but you will find yourself making strides to keep it there intentionally.
