Premieres...
"A Man Among Wolves" at
Monday, April 16 at 9:00 PM ET/PT (World Premiere)
Friday, April 20 at 10:00 PM ET/PT (Special Encore Presentation)
National Geographic Channel presents the unique story of maverick
researcher named Shaun Ellis who raises abandoned wolf cubs and teaches
them, by example, how to survive in the wild. Shaun has given up
everything to take a daring and unorthodox approach to understanding
wolves' every move - living and behaving like them, howling, licking and
snarling like them, even eating carcass meat like them. This one-hour
special documents this man's incredible journey to better grasp the
complex nature of wolf society by immersing himself in their world as
their accepted leader. It is a curious study that provides Shaun with
one-of-a-kind insight into this feared predator.

investigating Booth's daring escape attempt in The Hunt for Lincoln's

"Secrets of J. Edgar Hoover" at
Tuesday, April 17 at 10:00 PM ET/PT (World Premiere)
Though never elected to any office, for nearly 50 years J. Edgar
Hoover's power was unmatched and many considered him to be more powerful
than presidents. As head of the FBI, he knew what everyone else wanted
to keep hidden. Hoover recognized that information is power, which is
why he maintained secret files. Files so scandalous, all of Washington
feared him. But behind the public persona, his shocking private life
from his gambling addiction to his preferences for women's clothing
nearly brought him down. Now, the National Geographic Channel delves
into the Secrets of J. Edgar Hoover.
"Impossible Moves: Towns"
Thursday, April 19 at 9:00 PM ET/PT (World Premiere)
Two teams of movers face the ultimate challenge: move two entire towns.
In Impossible Moves: Towns, NGC follows a team of engineers on Vancouver
Island, Canada as they attempt to build and move a series of floating
luxury homes. The aquatic villas are part of a futuristic floating
community to be located just off the coast. But can they haul the 30
luxury homes through 150 miles of rough seas from the construction site
to their moorings without sailing off course? Meanwhile in Denver, NGC
follows a team of leading skyscraper designers as they create the
world's first full-size house factory. The designers race against the
clock to build, move and assemble a town of more than 200 homes in
record time. Will the team's radical ideas transform the way communities
of homes are created in the future and can they build the fastest town
in the west?
"Planet Carnivore: Polar Bears" (Part of NGC's "Earth Day" Programming)
Sunday, April 22 at 9:00 PM ET/PT (World Premiere)
Go deep inside the Arctic Norwegian islands, where an iconic mammal
becomes victim to global warming and pollutants. "Binne" the polar bear
is on the prowl for seals in this seemingly pristine frozen wilderness
after sparsely eating during the winter months. This spring however, is
strangely warm - the first time in four years that seals are nowhere to
be found on the west coast. The most visible local contributor of the
threatening warming weather is Svalbard's coal mines, which, along with
other coal mines around the world, release dangerous greenhouse gasses.
But there are other enemies: pollutants have been carried by air and
ocean currents to Binne's Arctic home. Will global warming and
pollutants destroy the bedrock of this polar bear's existence?
"Planet Carnivore: King Bear" (Part of NGC's "Earth Day" Programming)
Sunday, April 22 at 10:00 PM ET/PT (World Premiere)

violence can erupt at any moment. "Tuyuq" a powerful Alaskan brown bear,
has dominated the valley's corridors for 10 seasons. Now, a brash young
challenger is waiting to overthrow him and Tuyuq must fight to remain

did Russia open its archives to reveal a handful of Hitler's teeth and
fractured skull pieces. Join the National Geographic Channel as The
Hunt for Hitler uses forensic science and insight from interviews with
leading historians and eyewitnesses to explore what happened to Hitler
