Osceola GhostRiders Participating In 2007 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life In Kissimmee, FL
On April 27th - 28th the GhostRiders players, dancers, and staff will be participating in the 2007 American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Kissimmee. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this event all the details you need to know are listed below. The GhostRiders would like to invite all sponsors, season ticket holders, and fans to help us reach our goal of $5,000.00. There is four ways you can help.
(1) Need additional 04/29/07 "Faith and Family Night" game tickets? Purchase them through the GhostRiders office at 407.210.2383 or fill out the attached contract and a third of the fundraiser ticket price gets donated back the American Cancer Society.
(2) Straight donations is another way you can help out. Just fill out the attached or call the GhostRiders office and let us know how much you wish to pledge.
(3) Purchase luminaries in remembrance of loved ones to be lit by the GhostRiders Relay team during the Relay For Life ceremony on April 27th.
For each donation fans and sponsors will receive a entry into a raffle or a prize!!
Season Ticket Holders/Sponsors - For every $25 donation you make you will be entered into a raffle to win a 2007 #2 WR "James Panui" Authentic Jersey. Each time you donate you increase your chances to win.
If you donate $250 or more the GhostRiders will present you with a team autographed game ball accompanied with your own personal announcement at the April 29th home game recognizing you for your contribution. If the donation is made on behalf of a business the GhostRiders will include your business' message in our game night announcements. The fan and/or sponsor that donates the most, will receive 6-10 seats in a GhostRiders LUXURY SUITE for the June 16th Season Finale home game, absolutely FREE!!!!

ORGANIZATION: The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives from cancer and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of Relay For Life is to raise money to support the vital work of the American Cancer Society. A majority of the funds raised at Relay For Life will stay in our community to provide services to cancer patients and their families. The remaining funds go towards research and advocacy. DESCRIPTION: Relay For Life Is… The American Cancer Society’s signature event and the number one non-profit special event in the country.¨ A celebration of life for those who have won the battle against cancer. Survivors leading the opening lap of the event highlight the opening ceremony.¨ A memorial to commemorate those who have lost their battle. The dramatic luminary ceremony at sundown is a moving way to remember loved ones.¨ An 18-hour team event. Teams consist of 10-15 individuals from Central Florida business, schools, civic and religious organizations.¨ An exciting way to teach children the value of helping others, an opportunity for families to reunite and an ideal team builder for companies.¨ Fun, with a party atmosphere created by team members of all ages camping out, enjoying entertainment, food, games and contests.
